Project Management
Best Practices

  • Project Portfolio Management (PPM) - How do you pick the right projects?
  • Agile Project Management - How can you support agility in your organization and why?
  • ITSM/ITIL - How can these disciplines improve efficiency so can spend more time on higher-return projects?

Project management expertise is the second most important skill CIOs need to be successful, according to a 2012 survey by SearchCIO.com. But what methodologies and strategies must you master to manage teams creatively and stay ahead of shifting technology and resources?

At this important event, senior IT executives and industry experts will discuss how to:

  • Use PPM to prioritize projects and manage your portfolio of investments in a changing environment
  • Embrace agility and make it work for your organization
  • Integrate the best ITSM and ITIL processes so your team is more efficient and can focus on higher-return projects
  • Develop strategies for assigning resources, following up on would-be project roadblocks, and spurring innovation
  • Use tools like project management templates, project charters and project scope statements to support your team, and more!
