Abstract
According to this recent survey, CEOs are still insufficiently aware of the added value of aligning IT and business strategies to best manage business risks. The IT Business Balance Survey was developed by a multidisciplinary team of specialists within Deloitte: Enterprise Risk Services, Consulting and Tax. The questions asked were related to IT management, evolutions and trends in IT management, IT outsourcing and safety, privacy and fraud challenges. More than 400 respondents from the IT sector on the one hand and business on the other, across virtually all sectors, took part in the survey. The statistical data gathered from their answers forms the standard criteria for the individual organizations.
